• Water therapy- this is the best health diet for your kidney and the best part is it will not cost you at all. This diet will not add any energy or nutrients to the body but the water will help to flush all the waste materials that are there in the body. In fact it will also help to clear any accumulated waste materials too. For this you will have to drink at least 10 glasses of water per day.

• Less salt plan- consuming salty food will overwork your kidney. Since kidney also helps in maintaining the blood pressure it is important that you do not consume food that has got a high percentage of salt in it. This will not only affect your kidney but also put a pressure on the heart as well.

• Low protein levels- since kidneys help to excrete proteins from the blood it is important that your diet has limited amount of protein in it. This will keep your kidneys safe for a long time than what it normally should if you have food that has got high percentage of protein in it.
