  • Regular exercise is good for diabetes
  • Avoid direct sugar intake
  • Eat balance diet with fruits and vegetables
  • Keep monitoring your weight
  • Regular recheck your blood sugar level
  • Do not take more than 1500 calories per day
  • Quit smoking and reduce your alcohol intake

There are two types of diabetes- diabetes type one and type two, depending upon the glucose level. People of any age can develop diabetes and sometimes it’s even hereditary. There are some strict dietary plans which need to be followed by the patient in order to keep glucose levels in control. Diabetes is a chronic disease and it affects other organs like eyes and kidneys too, but the right kind of medication and diet can help you keep it under control.

Foods which you should avoid

As you can see most of these foods are carbohydrate and fat rich foods. It’s important to avoid these foods as these might interfere with your medication and blood sugar levels. You should make your own food at home and use fewer amounts of carbs in your diet and use alternatives to sugar like sugar free powder while cooking.

Low carbohydrate level
